Le Reno Amps Rather Breathtaking “Never Be Alone”

Like Kurt Weill wandering through a Victorian music box, Le Reno Amps presents a spectacularly strange cinematic wonderscape. I love this with both ears. And it’s not like I would be late to post on 4-20-2011, now would I? Never happen. Here my dears, is a trip.

Le Reno Amps’ “How You Did Me Wrong” does me right

There’s something rare and beautiful about a Scottish accent, undisguised and proud in a romantic pop song. This gem baa-baa-baa’s along like any lovely Beach Boys or Jellyfish number, as a seething Hammond Organ, pleasantly plunky piano, and sweetly strummin’ guitar accompany a woeful serenade to fate. Bitterness never sounded so pleasant. An ace track from Le Reno Amps from the ‘ighlands of Scotland.
