Neon Quartet – “Cloak & Dagger”

Total jazzbo anarchy mayhem from Neon Quartet. UK saxophonist Stan Sulzmann leads this group of jazz hot shots through an obstacle course of fun called “Cloak and Dagger” from an album called, appropriately, “Catch Me.” Long ago a certain jazz player told me, “when in doubt, go out.” “Out” is jazzbo for out of the key, out of the tempo, just out, man, gone. This starts out and stays out and goes out from out, taking the out to the outermost, and then it goes out.
