Lothar and the Hand People: “Comic Strip”

Ahead of their time, Lothar and the Hand People were pioneers of the American psychedelic/experimental landscape in the late 60s and early 70s. They were the first band to record and tour with a synthesizer as well as introducing the theremin to the mainstream before Brian Wilson did on “Good Vibrations.” They were also allegedly one of the first known “long hair” bands.
