This psychedelic meltdown from Edmonton’s Whitsundays is built of an unusual blend of aggressive, nasty fuzz guitars and trippy, ethereal vocal harmonies. Everything about the track is bold, including the mix. An ambitious composition, “I Can’t Get Off of My Cloud” brings surprises in both its instrumental parts and tones at every turn, and it’s all masterfully performed and recorded. Crazy, beautiful work.
