Northern Soul is timeless. It started in the north of England during the mod era. Many gr8 “Soul” singles were recorded and danced to at places like the Twisted Wheel in Manchester. This week’s winning MP3, “Shangri-La” by the Parakeets is a remastered song that was only available as a 45. It’s on the “Twirl Records Story Volume 6.″
