Hambone Willie Newburn – "Roll And Tumble Blues"
Recorded in 1929, this is the earliest recorded version of the blues classic. In the 1930s Hambone Willie Newburn was known more for his temper then guitar playing. His anti-social behavior caused him to spend most of his adult life in prison. Because music outlives reputation, a new generation of music lovers are left with Willie’s outstanding blues compositions.
